1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS & FREE ACCESS
By accessing and using MustTools (located at https://www.musttools.com), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
MustTools provides 100+ free online web utilities without mandatory registration, credit card requirements, or subscription paywalls. If you do not agree with any portion of these terms, you must discontinue using our utilities immediately.
2. NATURE OF SERVICE: CLIENT-SIDE EXECUTION
MustTools operates under a strict client-side computing architecture. All algorithmic calculations, text manipulations, image rendering, and code transformations occur locally within your web browser using HTML5 Canvas, Web Cryptography, and JavaScript engines.
Because zero input bytes, document contents, or personal files are transmitted to or stored on our servers, you retain 100% custody, ownership, and responsibility over the inputs you supply and the outputs generated by the tools.
3. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & PERMITTED USE
The interface design, layout, Swiss-brutalist styling system, brand identity, documentation, and underlying proprietary JavaScript routines comprising MustTools are the exclusive intellectual property of MustTools and its contributors.
You are granted a revocable, non-exclusive, worldwide license to use the tools for personal, academic, open-source, and commercial projects. Outputs produced by our tools (such as generated CSS gradients, formatted JSON strings, compressed images, and amortization tables) belong solely to you, free of any royalty obligations to MustTools.
You may not systematically scrape, republish, mirror, or repackage our complete site architecture into a competing commercial service without prior written authorization.
4. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES & MATHEMATICAL PARITY
ALL TOOLS AND CONTENT ON MUSTTOOLS ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
While we meticulously test our calculation engines against RFC specifications (RFC 8259 for JSON, RFC 4648 for Base64) and standard actuarial banking equations, we make no representations or warranties regarding mathematical completeness, accuracy, or fitness for specific financial, medical, or legal applications.
Users must independently verify critical calculation outputs before deploying code into production systems or entering into binding financial contracts.
5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MUSTTOOLS, ITS OPERATORS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES RESULTING FROM THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE OUR TOOLS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, SERVER DOWNTIME, MISCALCULATED TAX OR LOAN INTEREST, OR SYSTEM INCOMPATIBILITIES.
6. ACCEPTABLE USE & FAIR CONDUCT
You agree not to use our web application to:
- Execute automated denial-of-service (DoS) or distributed resource exhaustion attacks against our hosting infrastructure.
- Inject malicious payloads designed to exploit web browser sandboxes or cross-site scripting vulnerabilities.
- Circumvent or tamper with security headers, robots.txt directives, or rate limiting mechanisms.
7. MODIFICATIONS TO TERMS
We reserve the right to revise or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Material revisions will be marked by updating the "Last Revised" date at the top of this document. Continued use of MustTools after updates constitutes affirmative acceptance of the amended terms.
